Miss Steph Charity Queen, Ebiye Febo, has successfully carried out her pet project!

We are thrilled to announce that Miss Steph Charity Queen, Ebiye Febo, has successfully carried out her first impactful pet project! The event was held at Rumuokuta Girls Secondary school, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. As a queen dedicated to making a difference, Ebiye collaborated with iRecycle.World toward enlightening and educating the young students in Rivers State on how to recycle, reuse and reduce the use of plastics.
As part of our mission at Steph Foundation, we aim to support the growth of individuals and the less privileged, this support doesn’t exclude educating the young ones, however it is imperative.
Queen Ebiye’s Speech: “I am honored to be here today as part of Global Recycling Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness about the impact of plastic waste on our environment.
As Miss Steph 2025, my mission is not just about beauty but about making a real difference, and one of the most pressing issues of our time is plastic pollution. Every year, millions of tons of plastic end up in our oceans, harming marine life, polluting our lands, and even entering our food chain. Plastic takes hundreds of years to decompose, and the truth is, most of it doesn’t disappear—it just breaks down into tiny pieces called microplastics, which we eventually ingest. But here’s the good news: we can change this. Each of us has the power to make a difference. By recycling plastics properly, reducing our use of single-use plastics, and reusing materials whenever possible, we can help protect our planet for future generations. To the younger generation here today—you are the future! The choices you make today will shape the world tomorrow. Let’s take responsibility and be the change. Together, we can create a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable world.”
